Note:  In order for you to receive email notifications, your computer must be logged in as you (logged in OR locked) and Outlook opened.

  1. Open up the Shoretel application on your computer

  2. Click on Tools, then select Options


  3. Click on Voicemail on the left-side


  4. Enable Email Notifications and enter in your email address



If the above steps don't work, please follow these steps:

  1. Open up Outlook

  2. Click on the File tab, located in the top-left

  3. If the Manage Add-ins box is highlighted yellow like shown below, click on it.


  4. Expand Options and choose "Do not monitor this add-in for next 30 Days" and then click Apply.

    This is caused if the ShoreTel plug-in was causing Outlook to load slower than normal, which then resulted in Outlook disabling the Shoretel plug-in.
